Beginning on June 22 and running through July 10, the LINKS Center at the University of Kentucky is offering a synchronous, online version of its annual summer workshop. The workshop consists of three tracks, two held in parallel, and a third held after the first two are completed. 


This month, Simon recaps our amazing online graduation and awards ceremony. You'll get to meet our six Outstanding Seniors and find out who was chosen for the Dean's Award for Excellence. Plus, Sarah Madison from the Graham Office of Career Management shares great information and advice about landing a job in this challenging market.

Stephen C. Harris `82 and Elaine K. Harris `84 have recently established the Harris Family Business Scholarship at the Gatton College of Business and Economics. The scholarship will ensure that deserving students have additional access to much-needed financial support. It will foster opportunities for continued learning and success at the Gatton College and beyond.


Through the newly established Laura J. and Jerry T. Miller Endowed Scholarship, Laura Miller `73 and Rep. Jerry T. Miller `73 are offering an opportunity for an incoming sophomore to receive financial support to complete their Gatton degree. They have also made contributions to the Gatton Capital Campaign with a named classroom, and have also made posthumous arrangements to give ten percent of their estate in order to assist a greater number of students.


Current working professional and student in the Professional MBA program at the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics, Jonathan Pliszka, is currently the Vice President of Business Development at Morningstar.


University of Kentucky MBA alum Clint McCrystal is celebrating ten years with LeanCor Supply Chain Group. As LeanCor’s Training and Development Manager and with 100 new team members and more than 350 Lean Six Sigma Green Belts trained through the years, Clint has managed to stay connected with the university in various ways.


Shane Anderson has been promoted to Vice President of Commercial Lending at Central Bank, which was announced recently by President and CEO Luther Deaton Jr. Since 1938, Central Bank has also expanded the financial services over the years to many Kentuckians.


Well before unprecedented challenges rewrote the trajectory of the Spring 2020 semester, the Graham Office of Career Management had already begun investing in a comprehensive virtual career center to support Gatton students – and its launch couldn’t come at a more critical time!
