In FIN 485 and FIN 490, Gatton finance students move beyond the classroom by managing more than $6.5 million in real assets for the University of Kentucky Endowment and the Tennessee Valley Authority. Through TVA’s Investment Challenge, students gain practical experience in equity analysis, portfolio construction, trade execution and performance evaluation while competing against universities across the region. Gatton’s recent third-place finish demonstrates where that experience can lead.
