Academics & Advising
The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International accredits all Gatton College business degrees. The Gatton College of Business and Economics offers undergraduate degrees in six business major areas:
The Undergraduate Resource Center provides guidance in the areas of advising, career services, education abroad and student enrichment. We collaborate with students, encouraging active participation and positive learning experiences. Student success ultimately rests in students' hands in the planning and execution of their academic and career objectives.
Scholarships & Financial Aid
The Gatton College of Business and Economics offers a wide variety of scholarships that are based on academic performance, financial need, program of study, ethnicity, and residency. For consideration, incoming students must apply by February 1st in the year they apply.

Students admitted as freshmen to the University of Kentucky will be admitted as pre-majors to the Gatton College of Business and Economics.
Gatton Undergraduate Resource Center
The Gatton Undergraduate Resource Center is "virtually" open for our students. Your advisor and other URC staff are available by phone or email during our regularly scheduled office hours.

9:00am – 11:00am
Closed for Lunch 11:00am-12:00pm
12:00pm – 4:00pm
Drop-in Advising Hours
The URC will also be offering virtual on-call advising Monday through Friday, 9:00 – 11:00am & 1:00 – 5:00pm through the Zoom web tool which allows a video or phone option. Please visit the STUDENT RESOURCE page for more information and Zoom links.
Business Enterprise Living Learning Program
The Business Enterprise community provides both first and second year students with the opportunity to explore the business field through connected coursework, regular interactions with faculty, staff, and peer mentors, as well as networking with business executives. Students will benefit from co-curricular programming focused on leadership, community engagement, and professional development. The community seeks to inspire the "entrepreneurial spirit" in Gatton students and provide additional academic support for a richer first and second year experience.
Gatton College is proud to offer three unique and specialized pathways through the highly selective UK Lewis Honors College. Layered on top of the undergraduate major of your choosing, these specialized pathways are open to exceptional incoming business students who wish to develop comprehensive skills in a particular field.
Whether you plan to work for a large international company or a bank in your hometown, studying abroad is crucial as you prepare for your career in the new global economy. Gatton College proudly partners with top business schools around the world in order to meet the international education needs of our students. We also welcome students from dozens of countries internationally to be a part of our on-campus Gatton community.
Gatton offers the opportunity to participate in one of our eight Gatton exchange programs, or in one of several excellent business programs offered by the UK Education Abroad Office.
