Brian Scroggins, a graduate of the University of Kentucky’s MBA/JD dual degree program, now works as senior manager of casino operations at DraftKings, one of the world’s leading sports gaming and entertainment companies. As the NCAA Tournament approaches each spring, his work sits at the intersection of sports, analytics, technology and regulation — a career path that began during his time at UK.


Entrepreneurship at the Gatton College of Business and Economics is no longer confined to a single center or elective course. It is becoming a coordinated effort spanning new faculty hires, expanded programming, community partnerships and a growing pipeline that now reaches into Kentucky’s high schools.
