On October 29, twenty four University of Kentucky Wall Street Scholars and Pelissier Scholars met with Nate Morris, founder, chairman and CEO of Rubicon, a software company focused on cloud-based, sustainable waste and recycling services.

Undergraduate student Dylan Baker received Best Undergraduate Paper award for his paper, "The Intersection of Housing Policy and Adolescent Asthma Rates" at the Kentucky Economics Association 2020 Annual Meeting. 


Transparent BPO, a global contact center, and business process outsourcer, announced the hiring of UK MBA and Gatton College of Business and Economics alum, Natalie Dickey, as Vice President of Finance. Natalie will be responsible for Financial Planning, accounting, and payroll, focusing on budgeting, forecasting and analysis.


In his role as COO of the Tennessee-based hospital Tennova Healthcare Turkey Creek Medical Center, UK Gatton alum Ben Ridder provides leadership for the hospital to drive the delivery of high quality patient care, patient volume and revenue growth, and effective cost management.


Assistant professor Jordan Moffett, who's paper entitled "A Theory of Multiformat Communication: Mechanisms, Dynamics, and Strategies" has been accepted for publication at The Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science.


Marketing and Supply Chain Chair David Hardesty received a 2020 Outstanding Reviewer Award for the Journal of Consumer Research.


University of Kentucky MBA alum, Tiffany Larsh, was recently promoted to Sales Operations Project Manager at GE Lighting, a Savant company. In this role, Tiffany works on the Lowe’s Home Improvement account for GE Lighting, which is the largest in the company.
