Assistant professor Ben Commerford (second from right) traveled to Washington D.C. this week with his research colleagues to present their paper at the PCAOB Conference on Auditing and Capital Markets. The research that he presented investigates how auditors rely on artificial intelligence when auditing complex accounting estimates. The coauthor team includes Jenny Wang, a current Ph.D. student at the University of Kentucky, Jennifer Joe from the University of Delaware, and Sean Dennis from the University of Central Florida.
