After nearly 20 years in banking, Carlson is taking on a new challenge in entrepreneurship. He discusses his latest venture, a private capital fund focused on expanding financing opportunities for Kentucky businesses, and why he believes bringing talent and investment back to the Commonwealth is so important.
Carlson also reflects on his career journey, his relationship with longtime Gatton supporter Bill Gatton and how that connection inspired him to become more involved with the college. He shares why giving back matters to him and the importance of helping students as they begin their own careers.
