LEXINGTON, Ky. (October 19, 2026) — The University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business and Economics proudly recognizes Derrick Littlejohn, Marsha Littlejohn and Priscilla Korkor-Yaa Agbozo as the college's 2026 recipients of the Lyman T. Johnson Awards.

The three honorees were recognized during the 35th annual Lyman T. Johnson Awards Luncheon, hosted by the UK Alumni Association's Lyman T. Johnson Alumni Constituency Group on Oct. 9 at the Gatton Student Center.

Derrick and Marsha Littlejohn received the Lyman T. Johnson Torch of Excellence Award, which recognizes alumni whose professional achievements and contributions to their communities reflect Johnson's legacy of leadership and service. Derrick is a marketing and management alumni and currently serves on the college's Dean's Advisory Council. He is a senior vice president at PNC Bank, leading corporate and institutional banking for Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Marsha, a 2001 graduate of the college, is currently a controller at EBONY Media in Louisville.

Agbozo, a student in Gatton College and the Lewis Honors College, received the Lyman T. Johnson Torch Bearer Award, recognizing students whose academic achievements and positive impact on others exemplify Johnson's life and legacy. Agbozo is majoring in applied economics with a minor in international business on a pre-law track. She is the lead Gatton Ambassador and is part of multiple registered student organizations, including the Mock Trial Team.

The awards honor Lyman T. Johnson, a civil rights pioneer whose landmark legal challenge opened the University of Kentucky to Black students in 1949. His determination helped expand educational opportunities for generations of students and continues to inspire the university community.

Gatton College congratulates this year's recipients on their achievements and their commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
