The University of Kentucky welcomes the 2018/19 One Year MBA class to the Gatton College of Business and Economics.
Kristel Smith, alumna of the University of Kentucky MBA program, was recently recognized in the Lane Report's Top Women in Business, which highlights women in Kentucky (and southern Indiana) who are making an impact in business, their profession, politics and economic development.

Traditional Bank recently promoted University of Kentucky MBA alum, F.W. “Buddy” Schneider III to Senior Vice President (SVP). Buddy graduated with a finance degree from Marshall University and then participated in the One Year MBA program at the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics.
University of Kentucky MBA alum, Jonathan Beatty has embarked on a very successful corporate and entrepreneurship career since his graduation from the One Year MBA program at the Gatton College of Business and Economics in 2006. However, Jonathan’s journey began from very humble beginnings growing up.
They say patience is a virtue and for UK MBA alum, Andrew “Drew” Wilder that is certainly an understatement. After graduating from the Engineering/MBA Dual Degree program at the University of Kentucky, Drew started doing what most students do at this point – applying and interviewing for jobs.
The LINKS Center for Social Network Analysis held it's 11th annual summer workshop, June 4-8, for approximately 150 participants. The workshop was again successfully organized by Steve Borgatti, with logistics by Scott Soltis and Connie Blakemore and the Exec Ed Center. This year's program included five tracks, evening mini-modules, one-on-one research consultations, and special Friday programs on Education, Communications, Organizations, and Health Care. Evaluations by participants indicated 76% of respondents were “likely” or “very likely” to attend again next year.
