Welcome to the first Simon Says of 2019! My first semester at the Gatton College has been rewarding in so many ways, and I’ve appreciated the warm welcome I’ve received from alumni across the Commonwealth and the U.S. And of course, we all enjoyed our outstanding football season!


On January 18, Accounting department faculty Brian Bratten, Monika Causholli, and graduate student Valbona Sulcaj earned a Best Paper Award at the 2019 American Audit Association Auditing Section Midyear Meeting in Nashville for their paper, “Overseeing the External Audit function: Evidence from Recent Audit Committee Activities”. Professor Causholli presented the paper at a plenary session at the conference.


University of Kentucky MBA alumni from Valvoline, Alltech, UK Healthcare and AMR Management Services will be featured at the Gatton College of Business and Economics' One Year MBA Open House event 


A new paper by Adam Craig, Marisabel Romero, and Anand Kumar, title "Mapping Time: How the Spatial Representation of Time Influences Intertemporal Choices" has been accepted for publication to the Journal of Marketing Research.


A paper coauthored by Haipeng (Allan) Chen, Daniel Levy, Avichai Snir, titled “Price Points and Asymmetric Price Rigidity,” has been accepted for publication to the Journal of Monetary Economics, (equal contribution).
