Congratulations to Economics majors Ross Hildabrand, Rick Guha, and Zach Storms who presented their research projects at the Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars. Ross presented a poster on his research on "Fayette County Property Values" (Mentor: William Hoyt) and Rick presented a poster on his research on "Brand Recognition on Equity Performance" (Mentor: Chrs Bollinger). Zach gave an oral presentation on "A State-level Analysis of Incarceration and Unemployment in the United Staes" (Mentor: Chris Bollinger).
Recruiting and retaining outstanding faculty is an integral part of the mission of the University of Kentucky's Research Challenge Trust Fund, and each year the university highlights four outstanding endowed chairs and professors. This year's annual report, approved by the UK Board of Trustees Feb. 19, featured Stephen P. Borgatti, Chellgren Chair in Corporate Strategy.
