American Marketing Association
Information and Application
The American Marketing Association at the University of Kentucky is an organization that is committed to bringing together college students interested in the field of marketing. Our purpose is: a. To foster scientific study and research in the field of marketing; b. To develop sound thinking in marketing theory and more exact knowledge and definition of marketing principles; c. To improve the methods and techniques of marketing research; d. To develop better public understanding and appreciation of marketing problems; e. To improve marketing personnel; f. To encourage and uphold sound, honest practices, and to keep marketing operations on a high ethical plane; g. To promote friendly relations between students, faculty, and business people. f. To build a strong networking tool for marketing students.

Membership shall be open to students of any major who are interested in marketing and any other individuals who are approved by the board of directors. Any individual approved for membership must become a member of the American Marketing Association.
Beta Alpha Psi
Beta Alpha Psi is a national scholastic and professional fraternity for financial information students. Encouraging and recognizing students' excellence in the business information field is our primary objective, which is why membership requires that you be an accounting major with full-time enrollment at UK.

UK's Economics Society is a social organization connecting students through their common interest in Economics. Our organization offers job fairs and mentoring programs for students majoring in Economics; as well as field trips, intramural sports teams, and various other activities.

Entrepreneurship Club
UK's eClub serves as a central hub for entrepreneurial minded students at UK, and aims to be the launching pad for students to build successful businesses. We hold monthly meetings in addition to speaker series, workshops, and seminars. Our main event is the annual Idea Fair in April; a business concept competition providing feedback, networking with Lexington entrepreneurs, and the opportunity to win prize money!

The Global Business Network is geared towards business students or students interested in international business. It seeks to engage business students in a dynamic environment by providing opportunities to discuss current international business issues and network with other globally-minded students.

Finance Society
Awarded the 2018 Student Organization of the Year at Gatton College, the Finance Society is a student-driven organization that works in conjunction with faculty and alumni to help students with learning opportunities outside the classroom and career development. The Finance Society features industry guest speakers, resume workshops, education seminars, and social events. We also frequently inform our members of internship and job opportunities in finance. The FS is open for anyone with an interest in knowledge of the financial world and career opportunities in finance.

Human Resource Management Club
UK’s Human Resource Management Club is for students of all majors interested in learning more about the field of human resource management. Our organization holds monthly meetings featuring guest speakers, resume workshops, and other great resources for UK students. Whether students are looking for a career in HR or are just interested in the field, understanding the role of human resources in an organization is great knowledge to have before joining the workforce.

Investors Club
The Investors Club is a group of students interested in actively watching and participating in the stock market. The focus is on the education of its members through a balance of theory and practice. The theory comes in weekly meetings designed to educate and track trends in the market, while the practice is put into play through investing real capital provided by the members. All years and majors are welcome to attend.

UK's NABA has won many awards for excellence and is open to all minority business majors/minors. With biweekly meetings, the club's mission is to help minority students network with professionals and develop essential business skills, along with providing service to the Lexington community.

Phi Beta Lambda
Phi Beta Lambda is the collegiate branch of Future Business Leaders of America and it seeks to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. The organization focuses on developing leadership, communication, and team skills as well as networking with peers, faculty and business leaders. The organization also has a strong commitment to participating in academic competitions and conferences at the local, state, or national level.
