Kate Mentzer is graduating in May of 2021 from the One Year MBA program at the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics. Upon graduation, Kate will be joining World Wide Technology (WWT) as an Associate Project Manager which is part of their Project Management development program.

On April 23-24, PNC Bank and the Gatton College presented the PNC Business Innovation Summit, which included a half day conference and the PNC Wildcat Pitch Competition. UK graduate and undergraduate students competed in their division for cash prizes. There was also a division for student-led presentations for area non-profits for grant funding.


Little Caesars Pizza, the global family-owned pizza chain, announced earlier this year that Paula Vissing has been named Chief Operating Officer. Paula has been with Little Caesars since 2011 and most recently served as the Senior Vice President of International.


The University of Kentucky MBA case competition team at the Gatton College of Business and Economics placed 3rd in the 8th Annual 2021 SEC MBA Case Competition, hosted (virtually) this year at the University of Auburn’s Raymond J.
