Current management and marketing major at the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics and Women’s Golf student athlete, Jensen Castle, recently won the U.S Women’s Amateur Golf Championship becoming the first player in UK’s history to win.

 

"Still hasn't registered," Castle said. "It feels like just another tournament, but then I step back and I'm like, this is a USGA event with so much history, and I just can't imagine."


As the Tokyo 2020 Olympics come to a close, the University of Kentucky boasts a school-record 22 student athletes participating in the summer games, including 3 athletes who studied at the Gatton College of Business and Economics.

Ana María Herrera's paper "Impulse response analysis for structural dynamic models with nonlinear regressors, " (co-authored with Silvia Goncalves, Lutz Kilian and Elena Pesavento) has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Econometrics.
