The University of Kentucky volleyball team has one very impressive track record. With 18 NCAA tournament appearances in the last 18 years, 6 SEC championship titles in a row, and coming off a 2020-21 NCAA tournament championship win, the University celebrates these successful women athletes.
At the Gatton College of Business and Economics, we are especially proud of the women of this all-star team that call our college home. Starting this roster of Gatton students are seven undergraduate students: Maddie Berezowitz, senior; Lane Jenkins, sophomore; Haley Melby, first-year; Reagan Rutherford, junior; Mariah Walker, junior; Audrey Whitworth, first-year; Jordyn Williams, first-year.
Topping off the list of Gatton students is current MBA candidate and Xavier transfer, Kelly Franxman. Franxman received her undergraduate degree at Xavier in Accounting and Finance before transferring to UK for the MBA program.
Lastly, another notable name in the world of Kentucky Volleyball is Associate Head Coach, Anders Nelson. Nelson is a 2018 MBA graduate from Gatton College and has led the wildcats to much of their success since his hire in 2013.
We are so proud of these wildcats and wish them luck in the upcoming NCAA Volleyball Tournament. Earning the overall No. 12 seed, the cats will play No. 6 Western Kentucky Friday, Dec. 2nd at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
