The article, titled "Trash Unicorn: Waste Startup Rubicon Global Hits $1B Valuation With $50M Raise," discusses Rubicon's receiving $50 million in a strategic investment from Mexican private equity firm Promecap to continue to expand in the U.S. market and eventually open operations in Mexico. The deal values Rubicon Global at more than $1 billion.
In his role in the Gatton College, Morris offers guest lectures, serves as a mentor for the UK Venture Studio and for UK teams in business plan competitions, and spends several days per year at the college engaging with students, faculty and community members. He is also a member of the Gatton College Dean's Advisory Council.
