1.    Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Houston, TX

2.    Tell us about your family. Is there a typical night in the Clifford household?
My wife Robyn and I have 4 children Lilly (21 and attends Arkansas), Jack (19 and attends West Point), Harry (16 and attends Henry Clay HS) and Sam (12 and attends Morton MS). Given the number of kids, a typical night in our household is attending a kid’s sporting event and rushing home to get something ready for dinner.

3.    What do you most enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy playing golf and cooking in my free time

4.    Who is the voice of reason/support in your life and how important is that in your professional journey?
That would be my wife, Robyn. She has always supported me throughout my career, but as I have transitioned into this new role, her career as a change management consultant has been particularly helpful as a sounding board.

5.    How can alumni help make your transition to interim dean as productive and smooth as possible?
Connect. If you are back in Lexington, please come by campus. Talking with our alumni and hearing their story recharges the batteries and gives me clarity in my role.
