Jill Holloway Smith has been named associate vice president for alumni engagement and executive director of the University of Kentucky Alumni Association. Smith, a Paducah native, earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management in 2005 from the UK Gatton College of Business and Economics and a master’s degree in career and technical education from the UK College of Agriculture, Food and Environment in 2011.
University of Kentucky Masters of Accounting student, Brooklyn Heideman has passed the Tableau Desktop Specialist exam on her very first try. An interactive data visualization software company, Tableau Software recommends that those planning to take the exam have at least three months of experience working with Tableau, but Heideman did it in only 2 and a half weeks.
Four Pelissier Scholars and finance majors, Bryce Kushner, Andrew Buskill, Connor McKee, and Graham Sparks (pictured L-R), recently passed the December 2019 CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level I Exam, which had a pass rate of 42 percent.
