Thomas J. Aaron has been a director of Cincinnati Financial Corporation (CINF) since November 2019. He is member of the board’s Audit Committee and boards of directors of CINF’s property casualty insurance companies and other subsidiaries. CINF’s main business is property casualty insurance marketed through independent insurance agencies in 45 states; it also owns a London-based, global specialty underwriter for a Lloyd’s syndicate. CINF is a Fortune 300 company with an $18 billion market cap and annual revenues of approximately $7.5 billion
Mr. Aaron joined Community Health Systems, Inc. (CYH) as Senior Vice President of Finance in November 2016 and was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in May 2017; a position he served through December 2019. With 2017 annual revenue of approximately $15 billion, CYH is one of the largest publicly-traded hospital companies in the United States and a leading operator of general acute care hospitals in communities across the country. In 2017, the Company owned, leased or operated 123 affiliated hospitals in 19 states with an aggregate of approximately 21,000 licensed beds.
Prior to joining Community Health Systems, Mr. Aaron has had a distinguished, 32 year career at Deloitte leading audit and consulting services to national healthcare organizations. He also held several leadership positions including Tennessee Managing Partner and the Co-chair of the Board of Director’s Nominating Committee. His Deloitte experiences included audits of public and private companies, strategy and operations improvement consulting, mergers and acquisitions, and financing and public equity offering services.
