LeRon joined the Gatton Undergraduate Resource Center as an Academic Advisor in June 2022. He has a background in both Residence Life and Academic Affairs from Georgetown College, Eastern Kentucky University, Miami University (OH), and here at the University of Kentucky. He has a B.A. in Elementary Education and a M.A. in Student Personnel Services in Higher Education. LeRon is an advocate for student development and student leadership. He also has extensive experience supporting students and promoting growth. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, getting caught up in a good audio book or tv show, gaming, and playing basketball.

Hailing from Western Kentucky, LeRon brings his passion for student success to Gatton's Undergraduate Resource Center. As a first-generation student, LeRon deeply understands the impact that advisors and mentors can have on a student's journey. Inspired by the support he received during his undergraduate years, he became an advisor to pour into students' lives and empower them, just like his advisors and mentors did for him.
What captivates LeRon about Gatton? It's the boundless dreams of Gatton students! He loves hearing their unique stories and witnessing their determination to make a lasting impact on the world through business.
Here's a surprising fun fact: LeRon is the oldest of seven siblings! Growing up as an older brother shaped him into the caring and compassionate person he is today.
