Katie Scott received her master’s degree in applied economics from Miami University and her undergraduate degrees in economics and geoscience from Denison University. Formerly, Katie was a staff economist at the Legislative Research Commission, evaluating the fiscal impact of proposed legislation.
She serves on the Data Users Advisory Committee for the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). This committee provides user feedback to the Labor Commissioner concerning changes to existing BLS programs, the creation of new programs, and the application of innovations in data analysis to existing datasets.
