Jade Chen joined the University of Kentucky in 2026. Previously, she worked as an assistant professor at Loyola Marymount University. Her research interests include human capital in auditing, the audit labor market and accounting and auditing regulation. Her work has been published in the Journal of Accounting Research and AUDITING: A Journal of Practice & Theory. Before entering academia, she worked at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in Shanghai.
