Yunke Mai Ph.D.
Clark Materials Fellow, Assistant Professor
Yunke Mai is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Gatton College of Business and Economics, University of Kentucky. Prior to joining Gatton, Yunke received his Ph.D. in Business Administration (Decision Sciences area) from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. He also holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the Pennsylvania State University.
Yunke's research mainly focuses on the strategic considerations, operational challenges, and long-run system dynamics in complex managerial problems related to innovations, emerging business models, and societal concerns. In his research, Yunke draws analytical tools and brings ways of thinking from classical/evolutionary game theory, dynamic modeling, and control theory. His work has been published in Management Science and Production and Operations Management, and recognized with the 2018 INFORMS's IBM Best Student Paper Award.
