Registration Extended Through Aug. 29 for UK Entrepreneurs Bootcamp

The opportunity to learn how to become an entrepreneur is available to everyone at the University of Kentucky. If you have ever dreamed of creating a startup, or wanted to see if your idea could be the next big thing in technology, product design, or web-based services, then Bootcamp is for you. This program is free and is open to all faculty, students, staff, and community members.

LINKS Center Social Network Analysis Workshop

Steve Borgatti organized the highly successful 9th Annual LINKS Center Social Network Analysis Workshop June 6-10. Entrepreneurial Pitch Competition Brings SPARK to UK

Gatton Hosts Yale Prof for Discussion on Fighting Poverty

Dean Karlan, professor of economics at Yale University and founder and president of Innovations for Poverty Action, will speak at the Kincaid Auditorium in the University of Kentucky's new Gatton College of Business and Economics building on Friday, April 1. His presentation, "Pragmatic Optimism in the Fight Against Poverty," is scheduled for 3 to 4 p.m. and is expected to include a question and answer session.
