Murtha's Research Considered for Sheth Foundation/Journal of Marketing Award

Brian Murtha’s paper (with Goutam Challagalla and Bernard Jaworski), “Marketing Doctrine: A Principles-based Approach to Guide Marketing Decision-Making in Firms,” which was published in the Journal of Marketing in 2014, is now a finalist for the 2018 Sheth Foundation/Journal of Marketing Award. This award honors the best article published in the Journal of Marketing that has made long-term contributions to the field.

2019 Stock Pitch Competition Winners

The Gatton College of Business and Economics is proud to announce the results from the second annual stock pitch competition at the University of Kentucky. Sponsored by the Department of Finance and Quantitative Methods, the competition was open to all students enrolled full-time in undergraduate or master’s-level programs at the University of Kentucky. The Gatton College and the Finance Society coordinated in organizing the competition.

University of Kentucky MBA student team places 2nd at the SEC MBA Case Competition

The University of Kentucky MBA case team placed 2nd in the recent 7th Annual SEC MBA Case Competition, which was hosted this year at the University of Tennessee's Haslam College of Business. These graduate level competitions provide an opportunity for SEC business schools to showcase their students’ skills at solving simulated, real-world problems that cover the spectrum of business disciplines.
