Quan (Max) Chen is a Ph.D student at the Von Allmen School of Accountancy. Her research interests focus on auditing using archival methods. Prior to pursuing her doctoral studies, she spent nearly nine years working in assurance at PwC, financial reporting at State Street, and financial due diligence at EY in mainland China. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Renmin University of China and a master’s degree in professional accounting from East China University of Science and Technology.
