Craig Rudick is the Executive Director of Institutional Research and Lead Data Scientist at the University of Kentucky. His team conducts quantitative data analyses with the aim of improving student success and improving the efficiency of the University's business operations. Craig is also heavily involved in designing the architecture of UK’s data warehouse, integrating new data sources, and making data available and easily consumable across the campus Analytics Community of Practice. Prior to joining UK in July of 2013, Craig earned a Ph.D. in Astronomy from Case Western Reserve University, and worked as an Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) conducting research on the structure and evolution of galaxies in the universe.
