There are two Gatton visitor parking spaces in the Whalen building lot next to Arby’s on the corner of Colfax and S. Limestone. Please contact the person in the Gatton College with whom you are arranging your visit to check the availability of one of these spaces. Gatton College employees may request these spaces for visitors by filling out the online form here (you will need to sign in with your LinkBlue).
Guests can also park in the Limestone Garage - Structure #5. The rate is $2/hour with a max of $16/day - paid by the guest. Another option for departments is pre-purchase garage passes - $5/half day or $10/full day to give to guests when they depart. Check with your departmental administrator on purchasing passes.
The Colfax and Scott St lots are not an option for guests during the hours of 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. AFTER 3:30pm, they turn into EVENING LOTS, which means you must have a UK permit – E, C, K, R, etc. At 7:30pm, they turn into FREE lots.
Parking on the weekends is not a problem. Beginning at 4:30pm on Fridays – through 7am Monday morning – lots, garage and blue line are all free and not patrolled by UK Parking.
