Gatton welcomes new faculty bringing expertise in accounting, finance, management, marketing

The University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics is welcoming new full-time faculty members whose expertise will strengthen teaching, research and student learning across the college. The 2026 new faculty cohort brings experience from universities, industry, government and global business settings. Their areas of expertise include audit regulation, data analytics, behavioral finance, crypto regulation, corporate finance, organizational behavior, stakeholder engagement, consumer well-being and more.

Gatton accounting students give back through VITA clinic during tax season

Through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, students from the Gatton College of Business and Economics and the J. David Rosenberg College of Law are preparing and filing tax returns at no cost for individuals and families who may not otherwise have access to professional services.

New course helps Gatton accounting students prepare for the CPA exam

The CPA exam is one of the most important milestones between graduation and a long-term career in the profession. It can also be one of the most difficult to navigate. The Von Allmen School of Accountancy is working to make that transition more manageable through ACC 395, an independent study course designed to help students begin CPA exam preparation while they are still completing their undergraduate studies.
