University of Kentucky is a member of the CFA Institute University Recognition Program. In 2012, the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance was accepted into the program, signifying the degree incorporates at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and places emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice within the program. In 2017, the newly launched Master of Science in Finance (MSF) degree was also accepted into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program. These programs provide a strong foundation on the path towards obtaining the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, the top globally respected and recognized investment credential.
As part of the CFA Institute University Recognition Program, we are able to grant a number of scholarships that help defray the cost of pursuing the CFA designation. The University of Kentucky also competes in the CFA Institute Research Challenge.
