This month, we recognize two economics faculty members, Chuck Courtemanche and Aaron Yelowitz. Their research has been featured on several media outlets across the country, including CNN and Fox News. We also recognize students, faculty, and staff for their hard work and dedication with the new SGO Above & Beyond Awards. A special highlight -- Vice Dean Nicole Jenkins as she transitions into her role as Dean of McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. We will miss her!

Paul goes into detail about how the college proactively prepared for COVID-19 and gives recognition to the many people who have helped along the way. The September edition of Simon Says is all about one of our major initiatives here at the Gatton College - entrepreneurship! This month, not only did we kick off the fifth year of our successful Entrepreneurs Bootcamp program, but we also launched our brand new Entrepreneurship & New Venture Creation concentration in our MBA program.
On Wednesday September 11, the Gatton College hosted its first-ever Autumn Moon Festival. The event was part of a brand new series called Gatton Connect - an opportunity for the whole Gatton community to learn together, have fun, and help create positive change.
