W. Rodney McMullen, Chairman and CEO of The Kroger Co. was the guest on Monday's "UK at the Half," which aired during the UK vs. Ottowa University game that was broadcast on radio. Mr. McMullen earned his B.S. in Accounting and M.S. in Accounting all at the Gatton College of Business & Economics, where he is member of the Gatton College Hall of Fame. More recently, Mr. McMullen was inducted into the UK Hall of Distinguished Alumni; the university’s highest honor.
Thomas Ahn, assistant professor in the Department of Economics in the Gatton College of Business and Economics was interviewed by National Public Radio this morning about the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act, also called No Child Left Behind (NCLB). Renowned economist and philanthropist Dr. Bill Seale visited the Gatton College of Business and Economics for a tour of the new building site on Thursday, June 4. Dr. Seale and his wife, Marguerite Pelissier, was joined by Gatton College Dean David W. Blackwell, Senior Associate Dean Ken Troske, and Finance Senior Lecturer Wendy Liu.
