Gatton's Director of Honors Pathways, Ryessia Russell, has been selected as one of 50 members of the 2024-2025 Leadership Lexington class. Ryessia's role involves working with some of the brightest students in Gatton, guiding them through their rigorous coursework as honors students.
Dr. Alicia N. Abney, received the the Outstanding Advising Award in the Academic Advising—Primary Role category from NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising as part of the 2023 Global Awards Program for Academic Advising.
Brooke Harover, a Gatton College of Business and Economics academic advisor, received the University of Kentucky’s 2023 Ken Freedman Outstanding New Advisor of the Year. Each year the Ken Freedman Outstanding Advisor Award is presented by the UK Advising Network to one full-time professional advisor and one faculty advisor for outstanding service.
