Sebastian Amador is an assistant professor of economics at the University of Kentucky. Previously he was a research fellow at the London Business School. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. in economics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and earned his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Davis in 2024. His research lies at the intersection of macroeconomics and monetary policy with a particular emphasis on the relationship between business cycles, long-term economic growth and the relationship between technology and aggregate dynamics.
