Sebastian Amador holds a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Davis in 2024. His research focuses on macroeconomics and monetary policy, with a particular emphasis on the relationship between business cycles and long-term economic growth. In the fall of 2025, Sebastian will join the faculty at the University of Kentucky following a year as a postdoctoral researcher at the London Business School.
