Quan Qi a sixth-year finance Ph.D. student at the University of Kentucky, and he will be on the 2023-2024 job market. Before enrolling in the doctoral program, he attained his M.A. and B.A. degrees in mathematics at Boston University. His research interests lie in asset management, financial fragility, empirical asset pricing, and real effects of financial markets. His ongoing research projects explore how different institutional investors, such as mutual funds and hedge funds, impact financial market stability and their implications for asset prices & real economy.
