Creed F. Smith is the president (ret.) of Carbon Consulting Inc. He has also held several executive level positions in Exxon Corporation’s marketing department. Mr. Smith also served as vice chairman of the board for the Texas Industries for the Blind and Handicapped and was later appointed by then-Governor George W. Bush to a commission that provides oversight and direction for products made by disabled people in Texas. He received an undergraduate degree in commerce from UK in 1962, and his M.B.A. from the University of North Texas. He is a member of the board of directors of the Kentucky Business Partnership Foundation and is a UK Fellow.
