Gatton’s Senior Director of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement, Greg Casey, has received the Terry B. Mobley Philanthropy Professional Achievement Award.
Casey has worked in philanthropy at the University of Kentucky for almost 15 years, beginning as a student caller in UK’s Phonathon program. After working in television and radio news in Cincinnati, Greg began his professional career in philanthropy at UK as Associate Director of Annual Giving and staff advisor to the Student Development Council. In 2011, he took on the newly created position of Director of Development for UK Libraries. Greg joined the Gatton College team in 2014 as Director of Development, and in 2017 took on the role of interim Senior Director of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations. Greg has two degrees with honors from UK in political science and journalism.
The Professional Achievement Award is in honor of the extraordinary service from Terry B. Mobley. The Terry B. Mobley Philanthropy Awards are designed to recognize and reward UK Philanthropy and UK Alumni Association staff, and others across the university who engage in this work, and who have demonstrated outstanding performance and professional achievement.
Casey consistently demonstrates excellent work performance, achieved great success, and impacts the philanthropy and alumni relations significantly.
