Welcome to our May 2021 newsletter!

It’s an exciting time for our UK MBA program as we recently graduated our classes of 2021 from our full time One-Year MBA program as well as our part time Professional MBA program, and we will be welcoming our new full time One-Year MBA cohort next month.


Monika Causholli presented her paper titled "Non-GAAP Earnings and Board Connectedness in a Multiplex Network" at Oklahoma State University. The paper is co-authored with Gatton PhD student Valbona Sulcaj and Nicole Jenkins (University of Virginia).


Millions of students haven’t been in the classroom since March 2020, and it’s sparking a national debate. Many teachers, parents and students alike are eager to get back to in-person learning. The question is — can it be done safely?


Each spring, the Gatton College of Business and Economics celebrates faculty and staff for superior accomplishments. This is a time to look back on the past year and recognize those who have gone above and beyond in their service to the college. Gatton College Economics alumna Tiffany Ge was promoted to legislative director of the personal office of U.S. Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in Washington, D.C.
