With 9 years of experience as an adjunct professor at the University of Kentucky and 4 years serving as a Community Advisor on the Board of Trustees, Quint is deeply involved in shaping minds and strategies.

In his current role at the Gatton College of Business and Economics, Quint teaches three courses, Finance 310,  FIN 485 and 490, which are the undergraduate Student Managed Investment Fund Courses (SMIF) that manages a substantial $4.78 million, alongside another fund, TVA, handling $537,000. His classes emphasize investment analysis and portfolio management, where students have recently outperformed the S&P 500 by 5% in 2023, achieving approximately 30% returns.

Quint's personal journey resonates with his students as he was once a part of the same class he now teaches, managing funds for TVA under Brad Jordan.

Beyond academia, Quint is passionate about running and aims to complete a half marathon in every state—a testament to his determination and endurance. He finds joy in motivating people about money and investing through the DIY Money podcast, believing that the stock market offers unparalleled wealth-building opportunities for everyone.

Quint's journey has been sprinkled with exciting milestones, including publishing a book through Prentice Hall / FT Press, now a sought-after collector's item fetching upwards of $500 for a hard copy. Additionally, he made a memorable appearance in the recent movie "Dumb Money" through a CNBC segment, adding a touch of Hollywood flair to his already impressive career.
