Join us for the third annual Gatton Global Week: September 14-17, 2026! Explore global business career pathways, discover the many study abroad options available to Gatton students, and hear from students who have already taken the leap. Global Week is your opportunity to gain insights and take the next step toward building the global skills and experience employers value.
From panel events and interactive workshops to education abroad info sessions, Global Week offers opportunities to learn from business professionals, students who have studied abroad, and faculty and staff who lead Gatton’s international programs. Many events include free food, and every event you attend enters you into a drawing for one of three $1,000 education abroad scholarships. The more events you attend, the more chances you have to win!
Just like internships and leadership experiences, education abroad can help you develop valuable personal and professional skills that will set you up for success in today’s globalized business environment. Gatton College offers a wide range of program options, including short-term experiences led by our faculty as well as semester programs based at partner universities, with opportunities spanning all business majors.
The UK Education Abroad & Exchanges Office and Gatton College both offer substantial scholarship support to help offset the cost of studying abroad. Depending on the program and your financial aid package, you may also be able to apply existing scholarships and aid toward education abroad costs, or even obtain external funding. Plus, attending multiple Global Week events increases your chances of being selected in the Global Week scholarship drawing.
If you studied abroad this year, you are invited to submit a photo from your experience! Finalists will be selected, and Gatton students will vote during Global Week to choose three winners. Each winner will receive $50!
