In the Seale Finance Learning Center, students will learn in a technologically advanced classroom which simulates a real trading environment with digital displays that will feed real-time financial and market information. Students will sit in small clusters throughout the room allowing for more collaboration and giving them an introduction to the environment and atmosphere they will be working in following graduation.
Mondays and Wednesdays: 6pm – 9:00pm (B&E 260)
Tuesdays: 7:15pm - 9:30pm (B&E 264)
Thursdays: 7:15pm - 9:30pm (B&E 260)
*Doors will be locked during the above hours. Entry will be provided by lab managers. The Spring Lab ends on April 28, 2023.
A teaching assistant will check in the visitors. Note that to use the computers in B&E 260 and 264, you will need computer login access.
Gatton undergraduate or graduate students can request access online via myGatton. Fill out the Bloomberg Certification request after you login using your LinkBlue account on myGatton. This will give you computer login access usually within 24 hours.
If you are not a Gatton student but are a registered student at the University of Kentucky, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, LinkBlue account login (not the password), and the reason you need access to B&E 260 during lab hours. The Gatton IT department will process your request. If you do not hear a response within two business days, please contact email@example.com again with your original email request and copy Wendy Liu.

Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) Certification
Are you pursuing a finance internship or career but don't have much experience yet? Consider obtaining the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification. If you use the Bloomberg terminals in the Seale Finance Learning Center (B&E 260), there is no cost to you. The certification is normally $140 online.
Interested UK students may visit the Seale Finance Learning Center during lab hours. The BMC video viewing and open-notes exam will take 8 – 9 hours to complete and you may pause during training. Bring headphones and be sure to request computer login access before you visit. When completed, add the certification to your resume. It is an excellent way to show initiative interest in the world of finance.
