Scott Soltis PhD

Assistant Professor

Dr. Scott Soltis (PhD, University of Kentucky) is an Assistant Professor of Management in the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky. He is a leading scholar at the intersection of HR and social networks and studies phenomena such as employee turnover, performance management, and person-organization fit. His work has been published in outlets such as The Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Applied Psychology, Human Resource Management, Accounting, Organizations and Society and the Journal of Organizational Behavior. He has taught courses on human resource management at the undergraduate, executive, and doctoral levels for over a decade. Scott has also been a member of the local Bluegrass Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management since 2015 and has served as faculty advisor to the UK HR Club since 2017 and as director of the MS-Strategic Human Resource Management and GC-Human Resource Management programs since 2020.
