Undergraduate Program
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance will guide students in how to make the most of financial markets, raise capital, and assess risks and rewards. With expertise in corporate finance, investments, economics and financial markets and institutions, you'll be ready for careers in financial analysis, banking, real estate, and financial services.
Certificate in Financial Planning
Offered by the Von Allmen School of Accountancy and the John Maze Stewart Department of Finance and Quantitative Methods, this online certificate program is the first offered in the Lexington area. Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to sit for the CFP Certification Exam, an essential step in preparation for a career as a financial planning professional.
Masters Program
The University of Kentucky's Master of Science in Finance (MSF) degree prepares students for a professional career in the finance and banking industries. Students gain first-hand asset management experience by managing $5 million of real money and access real-time financial information in our state-of-the-art Seale Finance Learning Center.
PhD Program
PhD students are admitted for the fall term, on a full-time basis only. Admission is competitive and highly selective. Typically, only two or three students are admitted each year. Although these requirements are informal, the typical successful candidate has a GMAT score that exceeds 675 and an academic background with at least one full year of undergraduate calculus. A graduate degree is desirable, but not required.
