We invite the faculty, URC & Graham staff to to nominate students for the Outstanding Senior Award. Nominations will be forwarded to department chairs for consideration and selection of the outstanding senior for their department. Each departmental recipient will automatically be a nominee for the Dean’s Award for Excellence.

The nominee must be a Gatton senior. Strengths will be considered in the following areas:

  • Academics
  • Campus Involvement: Community and campus service (volunteer involvement)
  • Leadership: University involvement/leadership (club, sports, band, etc.)
  • Financial Responsibility: Element of financial self-reliance (working, internships, scholarships, summer job)
  • Interpersonal Skills: Recognized and respected leader, respects and honors fellow students, respects and exemplifies the Gatton Standards of Excellence, consistently represents UK and Gatton at school, work, home and socially

All submissions are due by February 7, 2025. Awards will be announced at Gatton Student Awards Day April 2, 2025.
