Researchers from the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business, University of Technology Sydney, and University of Illinois-Chicago published a new paper in the Journal of Marketing that examines the customer response and satisfaction implications of using AI agents versus human agents.

Dr. Tyler Kleppe, 2022 American Accounting Association Outstanding Auditing Dissertation Award

Dr. Tyler Kleppe has been chosen to receive the 2022 American Accounting Association Outstanding Auditing Dissertation Award for his dissertation paper entitled, "Auditor Information Spillovers and Company Operating Performance: Evidence from Targeted Auditor Switches." This prestigious award honors the author of the dissertation judged to make the most outstanding contribution to auditing knowledge. The paper is also currently under consideration for publication at a premier accounting journal.

Faculty Ana María Herrera's research paper, "Tax news in good and bad times", published in Economics Letters

In this paper, Ana Maria along with her co-researchers investigate how tax news is received by the population relative to the state of the economy.  The paper was published in Economics Letters, Elsevier, vol. 207(C) and can be found here.
