Golshan's paper accepted for publication in Contemporary Accounting Research

Nargess Golshan's paper titled “Does distance matter? An investigation of partners who audit distant clients and the effects on audit quality," was accepted for publication by Contemporary Accounting Research. The paper is co-authored with Nicholas Hallman (University of Texas at Austin) and Jere Francis (Maastricht University).

Professors Davis and Patel Honored with UK Outstanding Teaching Awards

Two Gatton College of Business and Economics faculty members were honored with the 2021 University of Kentucky Outstanding Teaching Awards at a Faculty Awards Ceremony held on September 30. The awards were presented to Olivia N. Davis, lecturer at the University of Kentucky Von Allmen School of Accountancy, and Darshak Patel, senior lecturer of economics and the director of undergraduate studies at the Gatton College.
