Li Yang received her PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University. Her research applies experimental method and draws upon psychology and economics theory to examine how management control systems influence employee behavior. Her research is particularly focused on social-mission and nonprofit organizations.
