University of Kentucky MBA alumna, Victoria Russell, was recently named the Chief of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) at Papa John's International. In this role, Victoria is responsible for leading the company's efforts to ensure that the commitment to diversity and inclusion remains a top strategic priority across all aspects of Papa John's business operations which includes more than 5,000 stores in over 45 countries.

Gatton College of Business and Economics Social Enterprise Scholars Jenna Hazelbaker, Kristen McLaughlin, Megan Van Son and Taylor Wurth were recently rewarded for their success and achievement at the Global Social Innovation Challenge at the University of San Diego.

University of Kentucky Provost David Blackwell on Wednesday announced that Simon J. Sheather has been selected as the next dean of UK’s Gatton College of Business and Economics, pending approval by the UK Board of Trustees.
Sheather currently is professor and interim director of Texas A&M University’s Institute of Data Science, as well as academic director of MS (Analytics) and Online Programs in the Department of Statistics. Texas A&M, like UK, is a member of the Southeastern Conference.
