The University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics will host a One Year MBA Open House event on Thursday, February 1st at 5:30 PM, which will introduce the full-time, accelerated One Year MBA program. All current undergraduate students, academic majors and young professionals are welcome to attend. The UK MBA program has officially announced a brand new STEM/MBA dual degree program between the University of Kentucky's College of Arts & Sciences and the Gatton College of Business and Economics.

The University of Kentucyk's Gatton College of Business and Economics recently hosted a Professional MBA Open House event, which was open to all working professionals in Central Kentucky.

Dr. Frank Scott has been teaching for more than 30 years at UK, with the majority of that time at the Gatton College of Business and Economics along with the MBA program. Each year, Dr. Scott is arguably one of the most popular instructors with the students.

The University of Kentucky's MBA Student Association (MBASA) is a group of current UK MBA student leaders and ambassadors with the mission of enriching the quality of student life through professional development, social events, community service and student engagement. To date, the MBASA has raised approximately $1,500 with a goal of $7,500 by February of 2018.

The University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics hosted James E. "Ted" Bassett III, one of Kentucky's most respected and valued citizens. Mr. Bassett was a decorated Marine veteran who served in the Pacific during World War II, former head of the Kentucky State Police and also lead the Keeneland Association to become the world’s largest Thoroughbred auction sales company and one of the premier racetracks in North America. During his talk, Mr. Bassett chronicled definitive periods in his life for the audience and his theme was centered on how to become an effective servant leader and inspiring a team through effort, respect, humility and sacrifice.

Current students and staff of the MBA program at the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics recently attended the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA) Annual Conference in Chicago, IL. NAWMBA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing women into leadership by partnering with universities and corporations which elevate women in business, providing professional and leadership development opportunities along with offering a strong national network for their members.

The University of Kentucky's MBA program at the Gatton College of Business and Economics recently hosted a One Year MBA Open House event to prospective candidates in their new $65 million Gatton College building.

Dr. Arundathi Reddy is currently a Professor of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at University of Kentucky Healthcare and is current student in the Professional MBA program at the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics. 

Darby Brown was announced as the new President of the MBA Student Association (MBASA) for the 2017-2018 MBA class at the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics.
