The Kentucky Blood Center's Big Blue Slam, which is Kentucky's annual competition against Florida, will be coming to the Gatton College of Business and Economics on Monday, January 23rd and Tuesday, January 24th from 10am - 4pm in Gatton's Woodward Events Hall . With over 2300 students along with the faculty and staff, the Gatton College has the ability to make a huge impact on the lives of Kentucky patients with their blood donations.

The University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business & Economics is hosting their 2017 One Year MBA Open House event on Thursday, January 26th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm in Woodward Events Hall – Room 307. This event will focus on the full-time, accelerated One Year MBA program along with each of the dual degree program options in Engineering, Law, Pharmacy and Medicine.

Now, putting the best of his recently completed University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business and Economics MBA together with the undergraduate degree he earned from the UK College of Engineering, Wright is doing just that.

The Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky is making it easier for regional businesspeople to pursue an MBA with a new, more convenient online preparatory ("prerequisite") option. Prospective students interested in both the One Year  MBA and Professional MBA programs can now fulfill their prerequisites through IVY Software, an interactive online educational software that helps prospective business candidates obtain the required foundational knowledge to prepare for an UK MBA program.

With its first class graduating just three months ago (December 2015), the joint University of Kentucky-University of Louisville Executive MBA program is already being ranked in the top tier. Recently, the UK-UofL EMBA became the only program in the region ranked in CEO Magazine's Tier One Global EMBA programs for 2016.

Through a partnership formed between Commerce Lexington Inc. and the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics, a scholarship in the amount of $15,000 will be available to a Commerce Lexington member to help eliminate a portion of the cost of the UK/UofL Executive MBA program, beginning in August 2016.
